I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, but when I was 13, I went to live in Nigeria for 2 years. I am the first born, and only male with three sisters. I am an athlete, and have a deep passion for music. Some call me a lady’s man and others, a comedian. I would just say I am a happy person with goals, trying to live life.
I am a Nigerian-American as most of us are. I’m a senior at Brooklyn College, double majoring in Biology and Psychology, aspiring to be a pediatric doctor after medical school. Nigerians have been making their marks around the world, I also want to help in that advancement. I love my culture, language, tradition and most of all, I love my country Naija!
I am 18 years old and I live in Queens, NY. My father is from Abuekota, Ogun State and my mother from Benin City, Edo State. I currently attend York College as an occupational therapy major. I play basketball, write poems and enjoy exploring and learning about new things. I aspire to be great and one day impact the world in ways no one has ever imagined
My motto is to ‘take everything one-step at a time. I was born in Lagos Nigeria in 1992. As a child growing up in Nigeria, I witnessed copious crimes, which motivated me to major in criminal justice. I am currently a full time student in Middlesex County College Edison, NJ. I enjoy modeling, meeting new people and gaining as much experience as I can.
I am 19 years old, born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to Nigerian parents from Igbajo, Osun State. I’m the youngest of seven children. I currently attend Medgar Evers College, majoring in Biology. Religion, education, and culture are very important to me. During my spare time, I enjoy giving back to the community through my local church as well as volunteering in daycares in my neighborhood. I am running for Ms. Nigeria Independence celebration 2014, with a focus to be a positive Ambassador for the Nigerian community.
I am 18 years old, born to a Nigerian and Haitian parents. I was born in Brooklyn but raised in Far Rockaway, Queens. I am a fun, happy, and caring individual with a focus to achieve success in anything I put my mind to. I attend the State University of Plattsburgh, pursuing double majors in Political Science and Psychology with the hopes of becoming a trail lawyer. In my spare time I love volunteering, running, writing, and creating videos.
